Introduction

Medieval Wars is a turn based strategy game, it's a big improvement from the first Medieval Wars. We introduced new different type of units: infantry (spearmen, swordsmen, pikemen), mounted (light cavalry, medium and heavy) and ranged (bowmen, long-bowmen, crossbowmen).

The battle system has changed heavily and has been influenced by Advanced Wars and the Battalion Series.

You can play in skirmish mode in a randomly generated map for a quick and fast game experience.

You can play and rate user created maps.

Gameplay

You will compete against computer controlled opponents from 1 to 5 and your main goal is to crush the enemies armies killing all their troops and conquering all their towers and castle.

Usually a map contains castles where you can create units and generate income, wheat fields, orchards and mines that increase your gold incomes to create new units.

Every terrain give you a defense bonus except from swamp (defense malus), mines, wheat fields and orchards.
