Grinding this game through over and over again made playing progressively easier, as would be expected - but first levels were frustratingly difficult. Once you level weapons and basic skills up to their max and learn to coordinate three finger movements simultaneously, playing is almost fun. Don't know if I'd stayed playing until then, had there not been AOG achievements to collect. ;)

Good graphics, simple storyline building to a sequel, fun hideouts with prizes and rewards: if you're into simple reactive jump/shoot games, you may end up using several hours with this. Gave it 3/5.

Overall this is a well implemented game. The levels get progressively harder and you do need to power-up your character to complete the game. Not my favourite genre of game, but this version is okay.

3/5

Bon jeu mais dommage qu'il faille revenir au point de départ et recommencer sans cesse !

Didn't like it at first, but gave it a chance. Now I really enjoy it. Wouldn't really call it an RPG, though, more like side-scroller with RPG elements. Nevertheless, very fun. 4/5, with a suggestion to give it a second chance even if you don't love it at first! ;-)

This is a horrible game for being a ninja. One would imagine that as a ninja, you can sneak by enemies, which you cannot do in this game. The controls seem a little stiff for me when jumping, but that's probably just my keyboard. Overall, there are WAY better games out there than this.

Quoting fergusferret:
well I got it working now and I have found that even losing the level is not as bad as it could be as you keep the gold you collected within the game so far. on the level select screen go to the skills option (top right) when you have 100 gold at least and you will be able to purchase a few upgrades, including shurikan and the ability to blend with the background, thus making the option to hide better ;-)

I may have to upgrade my vote at some point but for now I will be looking at this closer and trying a few new tactics within the game

Beat the game and got all the achievements 8) not sure the story-line is all that good really but it kind of fed the need for a sequel and be sure there will be a sequel to this regardless of the points we end up giving it.

The game itself plays quite well when you have got used to the keys and attacking mode but it is not quite as intuitive as it could be. There is also the problem of being able to upgrade your skills and this needs a large amount of spamming levels to upgrade your character. I know I did it to get level 5 on each of the skills. in the end I used the double jump and lots of weapons with little use or need for the extra skills like dragon breath or even hide.

my initial rating was 1/5 and as I have played it a bit more and got into how it plays I can be sure that my i initial score is not too far from the score I am about to give it. 2/5. to play it well you almost have to have 3 hands.
