fairly simple game in the later levels. so much so it is losing its interest factor and I am now thinking it is not as replayable as it suggests in the level selector with its easy medium and hard selector.

Playing this game on Normal, I beat it on one play-through in about 45mins.

Here's how.

#1. Start by spamming energy towers. As many as you can get up, and don't stop until your income is so high that you can start laying Gatling guns without worrying about the cost. Don't let them distract you from your primary mission, which is to keep spamming energy towers. It takes a ton of hits by basic bad guys to kill your buildings, and you can lay 3-5 more energy buildings in the time it takes them to bring one of yours down.

#2. Use the cheap walls to block all but one path path while you build up your energy. Make a single point of entry, kill the first couple of bad guys with a cheap gun.

#3. ALWAYS leave one open path to your main building. This causes the bad guys to follow a predictable path, which you can make a murderous maze. Don't block the path to your main building with anything, not even a gun or energy building, otherwise it will make them start making their own openings.

#4. Own.

Not a bad game. Fun time killer, but stupid AI and repetitive.

Its an ok TD. Levels seem too similar with little variation so having played 10 levels I feel it needs something else to avoid getting bored. Will continue & score at later date.

I only played on normal but I didn't find the lack of energy to be too much of a problem. Some levels needed rapid defence but some levels required building generators ASAP. 4-6 generators were enough to win each round. The different maps required different strategies for the most part. In general I found surrounding your base thing with basic turrets was a good strategy, leaving one hex open for insects to attack. Then aim a gatling gun at the space. Keep building gatling guns along long paths.

yet another defend the base game.

getting money (energy) aka buying more generators vs buying more defense is like walking on rope in air, needs to very balanced and most of time player has shoestring budget and can only dream about better turrets than basic (and those have their limitations).

plus is that enemies can't get from all directioins to attack on base but big minus is total lack of money (energy).

played hacked version of this game yesterday and didn't like it then with unlimited budget and don't like it now with non-existant budget.

not a bad defence game.., build enrgy producers to make enough energy to build turrets and defend the base from insects. nice, possibly replayable, with 3 levels of difficulty and 17 levels as far as I cam see so a short little timewaster.

will give points after another play later.
