Tower Defense game with gems,wizards,mages,magic/fantasy theme, excellent graphics/game-play with voice acting Introduction story.Beat difficulty by Unlocking higher units from Skills
Spent several enjoyable hours playing and advancing through Demogorgon. The object of this TD-style game is to protect each of the fifteen magic centers from attacks. The game starts out with a good 'voice-over' introduction. The beginning encounters of the game are rather well-balanced, awarding sufficient experience and gold to be able to purchase upgrades and advance to the next castle.
The defensive arsenal begins with three moderately effective towers; the Water and Rock Towers (defense against ground assault) and the Thunder Tower (airborne defense). As you progress through the game you can unlock the Mages and Wizards (Red for Fire attack, Green for Poison attack, and Blue for Ice attack)and update all abilities through Achievement upgrades. Unlocking and obtaining all upgrades is the basic challenge of the game. Once this is accomplished, the game goes from challenging to rather easy (depending on which difficulty mode you selected), assuming you pay attention to what immunities the invading creatures possess and generate Wizards and Mages with effective attacks.
The Boss final encounter at Valhallah can be somewhat challenging. He is The Dragon King and is immune to both Poison and Ice. You need five-or-six fully upgraded Red Wizards, plus Red Mage support to take this dragon down.
The game ending is underwhelming, containing the message that this is not the end, but just the beginning. Oh well, life happens!
IMHO, the game is just a cut above most of the TD games out there. I know I enjoyed playing the early stages of the game.
Comments
The artwork is bad, the game-play is mediocre, the upgrades make it a little better, but I can't play this, it isn't up to snuff.
not bad really but it seems you have to spam the levels to gain the upgrades between levels.
I will play later again and rate after that
