well cash galore but not a chance of beating the last battle. the best of the items I can get simply let you lose a lot slower.
it isn't a bad game but I am not impressed with the way the game seems to dictate the characters movements after a fight. if I place a ranger in the leaders role I expect the ranger to be the leader after the fight as well not some other random character. the move mechanics are a bit bad as well.
Then you're choosing the wrong character classes.
The move mechanics are that of a D&D RPG. Everything is based on rounds. 1 move square is 1 round.
D&D RPG's must not be for you Ferret. Go back to your cartoony Arcuz garbage.
I found the dead animals turned into pelts and they are sellable so getting cash for them but still not getting past that last fight.., I assume it is the last fight anyway. 3 chimeras and a mage against 3 of my characters. not found a combination that works yet

not only that but I have also yet to find anyone in the game who will take the stuff littering the game. what do you do with wolf and rat bodies that seem to permanently litter the ground after being killed. It makes finding other stuff difficult.
Ever played Oblivion or Fallout? Epic amounts of useless crap everywhere. Just don't pick it up.

well something has changed as the rats have become rat pelts with a value, as have the wolves and dogs. it appears I may get a good enough amount of coinage to be able to complete this game yet
The shortage of copper is due to it being a D&D style RPG. That means it's hardcore mode. Everything is realistic and challenging, not cartoony and spammy.
The challenge is what makes it fun. Not knowing if around the next corner is a party wipe.
I would agree with you but for that pesky 'Buy Copper' button.

there may be the element of hardcore rpg but even the hardcore rpg has some form of rest available. I have yet to find enough cash to afford rest and while this game is good the lack of cash is a downer for me. not only that but I have also yet to find anyone in the game who will take the stuff littering the game. what do you do with wolf and rat bodies that seem to permanently litter the ground after being killed. - dont use your hard earned copper for resting ever, you do get free rests after completing missions. If you do use copper for resting you may run into trouble later on, when you need better equipment, to the point you would have to start over again. - no buyers for the bodies, collect them and dump them in one place per area if they get in your way otherwise

It's a good game for rpg fans. But equipment and even resting are excessively expensive. To put it an other way, there's an extreme shortage of copper. You really have to rely on the free rests you get for completing some missions. Also you can only afford 1 (!) good piece of equipment. And even that you cannot properly maintain so i had to start the final battle with a 40% penalty on my melee fighters weapon
It can be won but some fight, in particular the last few, can be very chalenging. Nothing wrong with that *if* that's because of game mechanics. Now that it's because of shortage of copper it's somewhat irritating. All the more because there's a button Buy Copper so it's by design to hit people up for real money. Not really a free game for all but a few hardcore rgp fans.
Would deserve 4 stars for me but dont want to make the rate drop (score is already lower than that of some much poorer game but dont want to give 5 stars because of real money thing) so not assigning points now

I wonder if the snakes do the same
