You have to investigate and gather evidence about a creepy old cabin in the woods and its aged inhabitant, take photo's, use the metal detector, find and read diary's etc to discover what has been going on here and who the old man really is...

Liked the original story and I like this one as well. Not only do you have puzzles to solve, you also have various items to find and use as well as photograph other things in order to complete objectives.

Good atmospheric game. Didn't need the 'shock' moments that happened from time to time. Enjoyed as much as previous game but still only 3/5

Not as good as "Ghostscape", but still building a very unsettling atmosphere. However, it contains more "boo" effects, which additionally seem totally pointless and random. It contains more puzzles, which appear pretty made up and thus quite inconsistent with the setting. Both elements rather turn down the atmosphere a bit. The background story seems a little bit more elaborate than in Ghostscape, the setting is an interesting choice and the optics are definitely worth giving it a try.
One more thing: Onyx is a kind of rock! You can't find spheres made of it with a metal detector!
I give 3.8 stars out of 5, rounded up to 4, in contrast to Ghostscape, where I rounded down to 4.
