This game has a few balance issues. The maps can become HUGE grinds when the AI figures out how to use snipers. Your uber units are pretty crappy, and hard to level up. I have a feeling the premium units MIGHT be badass, but we'll never know.
I like the idea of this game, but the execution is lacking.
Nice graphic and animations. Nice music and sfx. However, the sfx gets annoy sometime. The control and UI are a little bit awkward but need some time to get use to. The AI is well made and smart enough to do lots of the micro-management tasks for the player. That makes the grinding much easier and simple. Lots of units and upgrades. Lots of challenges that make fun game more fun.
very good strategy game, very tough even at easy, quite much units and supports, also there's nice amount of unlockable stuff (research, unit upgrades and general upgrades), bit too tiny graphics which makes it difficult to see differences between units, its nice that units get experience so they get better (although it takes time), bad is lack of money during missions (it makes hard to get enuf soldiers in time) and lack of upgrade medals after missions (it makes upgrading and researching complicated), also enemy units seems to be better equipped than players units.
overall very good game but lack of money and medals and all battles being very similar to eachothers makes this game bit boring.
The initial atmosphere spoiled by the appearance of Lt Abigail Steamfox!! Adverts after every couple of rounds is also annoying. Otherwise it plays quite well as a base v base with various upgrades/units/specials available. 3/5
so far we have a basic ww2 scenario but then I am not that far into the game. basics are troops with the ability to upgrade themselves. they gain experience after each battle and possibly get better as they progress. there is also a medal upgrade system as well that gives health upgrades and support upgrades along with other upgrades. There are a lot of these so there must be a large number of levels in the game. I have reached level 3 so far but I have also found out you can spam the levels to upgrade your men as they gain experience in each battle and there is a system a bit like cactus jake where you get medals for doing certain things.
it looks and plays fairly well and is a simple base attack defence type game with other buildings to capture as you progress through each level. you get a few side fights where cash appears and you have to hover over it to collect but as your men are on auto move as a basic you can do this with no problem.
all in all a not too bad game. well thought out and plays well. Fist levels are a bit too easy really but then the levels may well get harder as we progress.

The gameplay is tricky to start with, but once you've got the idea then it plays really well.
There's plenty of maps, upgrades and achievements to aim for. Plus it has that addictive quality that makes you come back for more.
Well worth trying.
