Medieval Wars 2 is a turn based strategy casual game based on hex maps, sequel of Medieval Wars.

In this BETA version you can play the first campaign with 10 battles.

You are a brave Captain of a mercenary company, leading your men in the battlefield seeking for fame and glory.
Based on an advanced battle system you can test your strategy skills.
You can manage your captain's equipment selecting weapons and armor that will affect your stats.

Another glitch - on level 8 or 9 ("Crossroads"?), and on one of the NPC turns it freezes . Not my turn so I cannot do anything, no matter how long I wait the NPC never moves or does anything. Only choice is to restart. Happened a couple of times.

Major glitch happened twice on the center island level - some NPC suddenly zooms halfway across the screen, often winding up among some other faction's troops.

Great game! The crossbowmen seem slightly overpowered, and the AI doesn't value archers all that much.

completed the campaign without losing a single man. A little too easy.

And the crossbowman is really too strong. 2 of them and a shielded unit and you can hold every place.

2 sugestions:
1) While buying anew unit there should be info about stats of that units.
2) it is imposible to make any route you want with your mounted units (system automaticaly create the shortest way to your target, but sometimet I would like to move unit in longer path to "get mine" or other bonus.

Another seeming bug having to do with the population counter: I was playing #7 in "Men at Arms" with a pop of 8/12. Recruited an elite pikeman (value 2) and my pop became 11/12, an increase of 3! Next round recruited a crossbowman (value 1) and got a pop 0f 13/12, increase of 2.
