having not seen the first of this series i cannot comment on the changes. i can however say that the cash available just about manages to overview the needs of manpower and upgrading within the game. set the right squad together and you have aa very nice defence against what is thrown at you. some of the units are a bit overpriced in my mind but that is the game for you. graphics look good but the play is a bit on the wanting side. 2x speed is ok but no information on the enemies and no real upgrading other than one for each unit can make for a bit of a mess.

i have to agree with the main aspedct of the game from jairone. it is functional but not quite there for a solid score so it gets a weak 2 from me

Graphics update mainly, you need to use the correct soldiers in the correct places on certain levels or you will fail.
What the game needs most it for updates it lacks. That isn't to say that it doesn't work, it does. Merely that the game makes issues for the player that need not be. The lack of faster speeds, or being able to skip the wait for more zombies, is perhaps the most glaring example.
Further, the most cool non needed things were also left out, like more details about creatures, or alternate advancement paths, etc.
2/5. It is functional, but not even average in the genre. Which is saying something indeed. Even a 3x speed option would make it more bearable, and maybe make it worth an average rating.

nice sequel to prev. game but changes to 1st game are minimal outside new graphics, as usual money aka lack of it is issue on getting defenses up (especially on 3rd level), upgrade stars are given scarcely based on how many upgrades there are per soldier and skill upgrades require beating lvls on hard, plenty of soldiers to be unlocked, nice graphs etc.

overall very nice game but changes to 1st game seem to be minimal outside graphics.
