I found this a pretty awesome game. Very similar to Hands of War RPG, which I guess is why I found the controls quite easy to adapt to. Aside from minor features needing modifications, this game (I feel) should be worthy of 4/5.

BUT GRRRRR this is too damn short! 2/5

Found it a frustrating game. Why should the player have to work out the mechanics of the game? Lack of instructions annoying and all it seems to be is a shooter rather than RPG with no time for strategy etc.2/5

Eh. It's very much a top down shooter with RPG elements, rather than much of an rpg. The potion use delay is incredibly annoying. The controls are poorly done. The stages are a bit longer than I would like, for something like this, and there are no checkpoints during those stages.
It needs some work, and a guide/instructions.

Finally figured out how to play this game and have just completed it. The game consists of five (?) stages, and culminates with your character facing the Boss Wizard. He throws a wicked Lightning Bolt that can take out your character in two-to-three hits. He's accompanied by several other wizards and archers. My final character was a Level 7 Ranger with 780 HP, and equipped to 'the gills' with items. Still had a problem with The Boss, but finally defeated him.

Game Mechanics.

Picking up and Equipping Items. Sometime when you kill an opponent, he 'drops' an item or gold (shows up as a 'grey' circle). If you wait until you've defeated all opponents in the 'stage', and before you press 't',, simply move your character over the item and it will be added to your inventory. If you want to see what you've acquired, simply hit the hotkey 'i' and you inventory will pop up. If you want to equip the item from the battle menu, simply 'mouse-drag' the item to the area below the inventory popup. Then you can press 't' and go to the in-between-battles screen. Use the Arena to gain experience and gold (Arena Gold - 200, 400, 1000, 2000).

Buying Items. You can only buy items at the start of the game, and in-between battle stages. The 'store' of items will appear on the left of the in-between battle screen. If you have the $$, simply mouse-drag the item to your inventory and equip, if desired.

Level-up and Skill Increase. You will receive a small, barely visible notification during battle that you've just 'leveled-up'. Once you get this message, press the 'c' hotkey to bring up the Character Display and then spend you new skill points.

You can use your mouse to click on hotkeys area, but then you are not aiming at an enemy so you have to use hotkeys. You can equip by moving items from inventory into your "active items" area. You can get to inventory with "i" and level up character with "c". Still not a fantastic game. 3/5 stars.

I do believe the game developer F'd up here. You have to use hotkeys to use pots, which is retarded. There doesn't seem to be a way to equip items, though ferret says he figured it out, but for some reason decided to keep it a secret.

You have to walk over items to pick them up, which gets you shot by archers spawning right next to you.

There doesn't seem to be anything to to here but shoot and shoot and shoot....

Boo.

nice idea but enemies arrows do too much damage while mage needs 2-3 fireballs to kill 1 enemy, also there seems to be delay on potion use.
