I liked the story plot even though the game itself is a bit clunky. The clues for solving the various puzzles are elusive and could have been presented better. Also the story is a bit short but overall I give this game a solid 3/5.
To open the room with the dead guard... Use the scroll on the door (I used the one with writing found on top floor, though any scroll might do). Use the splinter (Found in wood pile on top floor) on the door. You will get a key. Use it to open the door.
Loose tiles... Use the hammer you find in the small room with the salamander to smash the loose tiles in the cellar. One will break open. Smash it again and an exit will appear.
Temple puzzle... Pull the level on the wall to enter the dusty room. Inspect the bookcase in the corner. Activate the "folio" hidden in it. Enter the room with the puzzle. Pull the copper levers in this order... God, Empty, Book, Fire, Sun, Sword. The wall opens, enter the next room, and walk across the room, only walking on the symbols in the same order as listed above.

The rest of the game is self explanatory.
It's pre-chimera stones, so it's a bit more basic. But I think the change from a classic RPG to a mystery solver is a fun change-up.
