You are a clever thief who know his craft well! Your goal in this adventure game Rogue Soul is to become most famous in the city and overcome other thief. Run through the levels fighting with the knights and collecting gold. Avoid obstacles on your way.

In terms of style and visual quality, this game is beautiful. You can tell that it was made with a lot of love. And despite its smooth resolution and fast-paced gameplay, it flows seamlessly. And that intro movie? Very, very well made. This game is, in a word, stunning.

All that said, however... It isn't fun.

Appreciating its style is one thing, playing it is quite another: As fast as it moves, with no way to backtrack, slow things down (even briefly); no unlockable maps, no difficulty or speed settings, no way to otherwise improve or enhance your or your character's performance through earnable stats, skills or upgrades, et cetera, et al... The gameplay itself is far too clumsy, awkward and frustrating to enjoy in any way beyond the initial beauty.

I'd give this game two ratings, if I could: 4.5/5 for style and appearance, 1.8/5 for actual playability. But I can't, so I'll just have to round it off at about 3/5 overall.

auto scrollers like this are bad news. no time to do what you have to do in the level and with such a small screen it is doubly difficult in this game.

Im not a fan of these auto scrollers which make the game more difficult than it should be. I know that's the idea but I prefer a little thinking time while I play.3/5 for its look and I am sure that many will love it.

quite good action game except bit too much things to do per zone, nice graphics and sounds, easy controls, automoving screen makes game difficult to play since many times player needs to do 2 or more things right after eachother and if 1 is done bit late then 2nd might fail.

overall good game but bit too difficult.
