Find the differences!Hi Kommanders! Who are the “real” Heroes in the upcoming episodes of Fantasy Kommander?
Before you try to answer , have a look at these images...
Why? Because as I told you in the first episode of this Diary we'll release two (connected, but different) games:
These games will be very similar, but not identical.
They will have in common: Setting, Game Rules, In-Game Graphics. They will have different Heroes' Concepts, Artworks, Multiplayer Feature, Length. The Artists that drew the heroes are different, but the heroes and their stories don't change from FK3 to FKW.
Anyway, FKW could be played as standalone. FKW will be the only game with the multiplayer and will be 10 times bigger than FK3.
FK3 will have only 1 Adamantia campaign with 5 main battles and 2 “side quests” (I added these kind of battles after your comments guys ;) ) FKW will have many different campaigns and you'll have the chance to be a Kaos or Adamantia Commander. FK3 will be probably released in Beta version here on AOG... we hope soon!

Don't worry this work doesn't touch the gameplay development
Mardus: FK3
Eladen: FKW
Yumanc: Both are good. FK3 for the grittier but also odder one
FKW for the more heroic and clean one.

Eladen: FK3 style, but maybe with a slightly modified pose? If she brought her left arm forward some it might look less ackward. FKEW version looks great, but does seem to be showing off a little too much feminine wiles & the hair style looks... more mysterious in FK3.
Yumak: FKEW style. He looks a little starved in the FK3 style... like maybe he hasn't tasted ale in a few weeks. That's sure drive a dwarf nuts.
In the next episode of this Diary I'll start to talking about Races and Armies.
It's a long long way...
markus ew looks like he couldn't use the sword he has his hand on and his armour looks like it was polished up and fitted just for the photograph opportunity. He also looks neater than a seasoned commander probably should.
Markus fk3 looks like he can handle himself in a fight and has the sort of look about him that says he is in command.
Eladen ew looks like she is trying to show off her attributes a little more than she should be but then she is an elf so it could be that she uses her charms a lot.
Eladen fk3 looks a little awkward and stiff as if she is not at all comfortable with her pose or the clothes she has on.
Yumak is the consummate fighter in both of the pictures.
all in all I prefer markus fk3, Eladen ew and Yumak fk3.
Your explanation is not confusing as such but does differ from what I was expecting. I had expected some information about characters and races in the ew version along with a bit more information about the races in fk3.
But apart of Marcus the other ones are okay, too.
I think I simply really don't like the FK-EW Marcus. He doesn't look like a hero. More like some kind of perfectly groomed villain...
As for question 4: Not confused. But a little irritated. I'd like the same artworks for both games more. It would fit the description and would be a connecting point.
But it's really okay. I don't even know if I can expect much in the way of 'closeness' to the hero in the campaigns. Will depend on the story...
