Setting (part 2)Hi Generals!
Welcome?
To be honest you'll not be very welcome in this county. Goblins, orcs, and trolls invaded this land and you'll have to fight very hard to free it...
The exclusive map that I unveil for you in this episode is the one you'll play in Fantasy Kommander 3 (That, I repeat, is not Fantasy Kommander-Eukarion Wars).
As you can see this map represents a small region and not a continent like the map in the previous episode of this diary. Anyway this region is a small part of the Empire of Adamantia represented in the bigger map. The game will be played in maps like this one. The yellow arrows indicate the movements of the Adamantia Army, while the purple ones the movements of Kaos... and stop, I don't want to unveil too much about your next campaigns because I'm sure you'll want to discover them by yourself.
What I can say you today is that FK-Eukarion Wars will have 8 campaigns with several battles.
You can choose to play as an Adamantian General or as a Kaos General and you'll have different heroes at your service.
In Fantasy Kommander an aspect quite different from the classic fantasy setting is that goblins, orcs, and trolls are not simply “monsters”, but they have their own civilizations with cities, Kingdoms, Empires and a social structure. They are brutal, but they are not simply monsters that want to kill and destroy everything.
Then we'll have the Abyss with undeads and ancient creatures... why the abyss is in war is unknowable (at least now in this diary).
All the stories and the settings in the campaigns will be connected and during your battles you'll discover many things about this great war in the Eukarion continent.
As always, feel free to ask me anything!

Lol. Honestly, the more you give for side quests and options to go and do extra stuff, the better the game will do. People love to be able to go off and do a little something on the side.
Also, the more we see when betas come up, the more we can suggest. And... to be honest, you know how ruthless we can be when it comes to that! Just promise not to hate us too much...
I can stand being hated as long as the game is great to play and has the replayability most of the games made these days do not have. we only have to look at our beloved AoG website to see lots of 'play once only' games.
I hate you guys
As of now I designed secondary objectives in any battle but not completely new side quests.
Ok I'll add side quests for you.
As always, thank you very much for the feedback!
2. yeeeeeeeeaah =D
3. yes
4. yes but they are a little bit too simple.
5. both.
6. adamantia, but for sure because we have more played them.
7. secondary questlines, and more important, more choices who (very) influence the principal questline
forgive my english, is not my lenguage.
#2. Yep.
#3. Yep. The setup makes me much more interested. I feel involved in the story when I'm given setups like this.
#4. I can't comment too much on FK 1&2. I found them both to be unplayable for reasons I've stated many times before. Therefore, I ignored the storyline. I paid attention to Kaos Kommander, but it's been so long that I've forgotten the story points.
#5. I'm going to have to say Kaos, since I didn't finish FK 1&2 for reasons stated before.
#6. I don't understand the question.
#7. Story forks based on player choices, to increase re-playability.
2.yes
3&4. the story sounds beter then the previous games i never really got into the story in the previous games
5. both i like both sides
6. probably adamantia because there are more games with them
7. side quests .... quests or area's that you can attack to get extra experience and gold for your armies. ( these areas should be difficult to beat but have great rewards)
cheers
the map while large in some respects is also rather small. It looks like onacom county could be walked past and you not even notice it exists. that may be how you want it to feel and if so I am not complaining. There are a few niggles though
The map shows areas that the battles seem to miss entirely. I understand the battles for the towns and the 1 village but I would have thought there would be more to this place than a few towns and villages. There is a tower which is bypassed completely and an area to the right of the main battlegrounds that has some structure or ruin. I would be looking to investigate these and have some form of side quests/battles.
The story line is fine by me as I am an avid believer that any army has to have intelligence, structure and civilisation of some sort behind it. as a warhammer and also warcraft player of old I am well used to the chaos social structures. The only armies in chaos not from a civilisation are the undead. that can be argued about another time I think.
I like the link with the first FK games and as they are linked with the eukarion theme it is good they are included. not too sure I follow the meaning of the question about fk1&2 and kk though.
I have no real favourite between kaos and admantia. I am happy to play on either side.
at the moment the admantia side is characterised more than the kaos side. That may just be because of FK1 and 2 while kaos has only got KK as a background.
I would add a few side quests and possible battles round the ruins to the south east and round the tower to the north. I would also think hard about the dwarven village in this map.., is it normal dwarves or are they kaos dwarves? why are they there and how did they get there?
hope this helps stir a few others into asking questions and commenting
