Spectromancer, an online fantasy card game, players participate in a magical duel against other mages by strategically summoning creatures and casting spells.
Looks great but get the feeling that more time has been spent on artwork than gameplay. For all that and the fact that it is only part of a game I still give it 4/5
such a simple game on easy even I can play it.., but it is only a demo for the full version it seems.., asks you to download the full version to continue.

Very beautifully made, solid combat system. That you can't make your own deck is a minus, in that I agree with Figsak, but one could also see that as a challenge to work with what you get. But anyway, it is not really a card game, in which you might bite the dust just because your good cards are on the bottom of your deck. Instead, your repertoire lies open before you, and you can use anything of it whenever you have enough mana. I like that a lot. And although graphics might not be everything, the artwork alone is worth giving it a try. I give 4 stars out of 5.
Speaking only of the single player version: The lack of a deck editor removes half of whats fun about card games, the ability to set up and execute your own strategies. The rest of the game is on a rail that you cannot deviate from. Basically the card battle system is great, but it keeps you on such a generic rail, it's hard to enjoy it.
