By the way, you wussies :D I finished the game in the meanwhile, level 10 with two stars on normal difficulty.
Another thing that helped me quite well: When you pause the game, you can consult the game guide and look up the stats of the current wave without aborting the game.

Two things, however, I found a bit annoying:
First, the in-game music. Sounds more like a Tim Burton animation than like massacring alien swarms.
Second, it's to easy to hit the Sell button of a turret. Happened twice to me when I wanted to change to another turret  Should have a dialogue pop-up to assure the sale.
But I think those are rather minor flaws.

I'm with DMs choice on this one, but I know what fergus and earth are saying.

This game seems very hard at the start, but if you stay with it a little and get to understand the different strengths and weaknesses of the towers and the enemies then it becomes more playable.

Overall it plays well with the graphics, sounds and music all being reasonable. Although it does have an annoying gameplay issue when you click on a tower to select it and then clicking on the same tower again right away does not deselect it - that really annoys me.

On balance I'm giving this an average score for the tower defense genre.

I have to disagree with you, fergus, and earth. I think this is a pretty solid game. Sure, it isn't as amazing as the menu graphic promises, but I found it to work quite well. It doesn't bring anything new to the Tower Defense genre. Five towers with standard abilities. And yes, some levels are quite challenging. But I almost played through it already (on another website), and with three stars on most levels (on normal difficulty only, of course). I think, the trick is to take look at each wave and upgrade what you need most for that wave. Worked for me, had fun with it.
3/5 stars - one of the better average TDs

what fergus said, damage dealt by towers isn't upto par with amount of enemies and their health, plenty of upgrades and few turrets but very (too) limited places to build those, nice graphics and rest.

overall normal td game but difficult, even with fully upgraded and all slots built up (with most powerful towers) its still very difficult to pass level 2 (I played hacked version a while ago and soon got enuf of this pos).

this is about as playable as trying to stop the tide. there is way too little cash available not just at the beginning but as you kill bugs. The cash drops are pathetic and so is the damage caused by the turrets. large numbers of enemies swarm through and your guns fire every few seconds??? I want guns that will fire until they kill and then fire at the next and so on, especially the machineguns. I also expect the next gun to fire and kill a few of the enemy as it seems to suggest not kill one and have no effect on the rest. it will only hit on of the pack instead of area effect.

I thought we had a nice little time waster here but it turned into a pile of doggy dodo. not worth the time it wastes loading up.
