ok semi td game, no building towers instead player captures (tries to capture) monsters to kill other monsters, some monsters can't be captured and some can be captured once enuf mana (but by then no more lives maybe) and captured monsters can't withstand damage much, defenders needs to be groupped (not easiest task due so many non-captures and some require full mana), nice graphics with ok sounds.

overall ok game but too much to do and defenders can't withstand much damage (greys die after 2-3 hits and greens die bit slower), healers help a bit but when waiting mana to be full to get greens current defs die.

The game is actually balanced fairly well. I agree it is unusual, but I like it in general. Careful selection of the units you want, based both on what will help you... and what will hurt if not taken... is very important.
I actually think this is one of the better defense games out there, despite a very odd name and a high learning curve. I'm giving it more credit than Fergus, it works well, has a good amount of variety, and has some interesting events to keep you on your toes. I can see it being frustrating if you don't pay enough attention to group balance, especially healers and specials.
What I don't like is the randomness of the items. You may need to replay maps in order to get a new item to progress... but the random nature makes them painful at times. Some of them are very useful, but I would rather see a shop added, or a leveling system, so you aren't left hoping for certain stat boosts to drop. This is a small negative to an otherwise solid game.
4/5 (low 4/5) from me, however, for a game that is very nicely balanced, and leave something to keep you guessing even later on.

this sort of tower defence game is a bit odd. not only do you not have the ability to build new towers you only gain allies by capturing the enemy and placing them on the area you have to place them to attack your enemies. you have no upgrades available and they will die very easily from round 2 onwards.

good idea but a bit out on the way it works so 2/5 for effort.
