Genre: Strategy

My Pet III takes everything you loved from the previous two, expands on it, cuts out the chaff and introduces several new ideas and features, including Umbrellas.
Train your young apprentice before sending him out to destroy huge dungeons full of evil wearing Bunny slippers and wielding a deadly War Carrot.
Take him (or her) from an empty shell to a total noob or godlike hero in 6 years before facing judgement.

Use mouse to navigate various menus and arrow keys to move around dungeon locations.

I can't get into this series... I really dislike Kong's generic skins and graphics they use for every game. I couldn't figure out how to sell items. I always feels like I'm wasting a ton of time doing things I'm not sure how helpful they are.

The biggest issue is that these games just feel like clones of previous games. They just add more crap and call it better, when it feels to me like so much clutter.

3/5 for effort, just not for me.

Very similar to the others in the series.

The automated combat is at first a blessing because it speeds up combat compared to previous games in the series. For the most dangerous places it is a curse however, often trying magic attack that has high chance to be resisted and even if succesful would do far less damage than a melee attack

Finished the game in about twice the number of weeks, could have been faster but i wanted to clear all dungeons and max all village buildings ;-)

At ascention time i had one skill maxed

In all a good game but it has some bugs / issues that keep it from getting 5/5 from me so i'll give it 4/5

N.B. A large part of the game is resting, relaxation will improve your ability to rest (up to twice as good at 1000) so dont take jobs that hurt it

as I suspected the game is almost identical to the last in the series. when you get to the end of the time period you ascend and as usual get marked for the way you have progressed. if you go for the cash and work for it more than anything else you manage to get the journeyman of bargaining.

there is no way anyone will get full stats with this time limit. You do however get to continue the game. there is no upgrade to the score for playing further so you could in theory get to the full village stage with all inhabitants and upgrades. You could also get to the stage of all dungeons completed and all the rest areas found as well.

my original score stands ;-)

A-haaa! :o
I'm so dumb... 210 weeks in-game, and I just found out, what the "Explore" button on the map is good for.

I don't know... I'm a little bit disappointed. It feels like its predecessors actually hat more features (and more charme), not only in combat, but in general. But especially in combat it bothers me somewhat. Would have been nice to pull off some tricks your hero learned instead of just watching and hoping that he's good enough.
I didn't rate yet. I like the series in general and want to see if I have missed something.

Good continuation of the My Pet Protector series. Is simple and functional but somehow this game gets under my skin and as with the previous versions I know that I will keep coming back for more. I know that progress will be slow & that the graphics are very basic, also that with the time limit I will be unlikely to finish, but I still like it.4/5

not bad rpg strategy but takes quite a while to get money or abilities and there isn't unlimited time, fights are easy (cause player has basically 0 cjaces to interact), expensive equipments vs not that much gold got at beginning, bit crappy graphics but they do their job.

another good basic game with the usual flaws. the time limit is a big flaw. I haven't got to the end of the timing so no idea if it goes further but the limit tends to reduce the possible level your character is able to reach and a perfect score is very hit and miss with it.

the training is good as usual and the battles are good as long as you have been able to train to the level required for the enemy. attack and defence is a good idea to train up to allow the character a better chance to survive ;-)

all in all not too bad 4/5
