Air is still annoying, even after the new version. The range on the AA towers is way too short. The air baddies still do too much dmg and have too many hp's.

A level 1 AA tower should have BIG range and MAUL air baddies. This is how AA towers geneally work in TD's. Not the case here.

Hi all

Another Update: A few balance tweaks to the air units based on feedback, and a bug-fix.

Probably today we'll start the web distribution.

Air baddies are a tad lame. They strike often, have lots of HP, and hit very hard. This wouldn't be much of an issue if AA towers weren't so expensive or had a bigger attack range. You have to spend hundreds of gold on PURE AA towers to deal with them, which will of course get you killed by ground baddies.

This TD is cute and gives a nice spin on the genre, but I find the air issue here to be too annoying to finish this game.

3/5 for effort.

A new version is here!

The Developer says: "...some tweaks to lower the overall difficulty and lower the initial difficulty curve. There's also a new feature of a spawn point highlight from one of the user suggestions which should make it less frustrating."

...and he's still working to release another version for you!

For me the game is good now with the exception of what may be a minor bug.
The AA towers don't target missiles despite the fact that it clearly calls them air.That sunk me on level 4

the more I try this game the more i am convinced the towers are in need of a good helping of cash and armour increase. level 2 has a set of missiles that take out the starting towers which makes the level almost unplayable... given that level 8 goes so far and won it once. I am none the wiser how I managed to do that win as I cannot replicate it at all.

the balls traveling through the level are bad enough but the loss of a starting defence is even worse

the way this game plays, I am beginning to think I do not want to continue with it... the last attempt at level 1 had 6 on the first spawning and 12 on the second... then they just keep coming from that wave onwards so it almost looks like there are only 3 waves in the level with the third wave being enormous.

using safari as my internet connector on a mac 10.5.8 also got the latest version of flash.

If you are getting that many for the second wave then for some reason your version is bugged..

What version of flash are you using and which browser?

getting between 4 and 8 spawns for the first wave and then double that for the second wave

just used 16 towers and 8 walls to beat the first level and ended up with 8 towers left. This included 4 sniper towers, of which 2 survived

castle was at half life at the end.

Never had time to try upgrading the towers with the spawning being almost constant. there seems to be no way to mend towers... possible design flaw??

If that's fine, try to build towers close together around the castle so that they can cover each other. Also don't build a bomb tower or prism tower, they are expensive and not so useful on the 1st level. Use the gold to upgrade arrow or machine gun towers and you should be fine.

Most important is to use walls. One or two stone walls to soak up damage and you should be good.
