Controls are far too inaccurate especially when screen is juddering with explosions etc. Also I found I was moving the map when trying to grab a plane. Very awkward. 2/5
controls are way too awkward to be of any use at all in such a sstrategically critical situation.., the mouse not only makes the planes do things but it also moves the battle area so that you can be trying to move a plane and move the area instead thus losing the plane of the area the planes are supposed to be trying to defend as the screen moves away from where the action is
Yet another Steambirds clone. Seems that Steambirds will have it's own game genre at this pace...
This one plays a bit different than the other ones in that it uses WAY less strategy. There's no upgrades or slow tactical precision to be utilized, it's just basically that you get to point your planes in a specific direction, watch them do their own thing, and that's the whole game.
The game looks half terrible, but the audio is pretty great. The way the game plays is pretty original other than the Steambirds control system. I really don't like how shallow the game is though. The option to take a break after every wave and manage weapons, planes, etc. would be great.
