Genre: Strategy

Tower moon is an ANTI tower defence game where you have to control the armies rather than the towers. Move your troops strategically to win the level.

Use arrows or WASD for move.

Having to restart a level is really annoying, especially the more complex ones(has been mentioned before). I like the graphics and the puzzle ideabut being able to'win/earn' a bonus foodstuff for later levels would be helpful as some levels are insanely complicated.3/5

a strategic puzzle.... hmm not bad really but needs a restart on the level to be worth more than 3

As stated below, it seems that you need sheer perfection to beat levels. That means not wasting food by using a SINGLE more unit to take a food basket or tree than absolutely necessary. So at the end of a long tedious level, you can find out there is no possible way to complete the level because 10mins ago you sent 1 more thief than you needed to send to take something.

A very interesting concept (ugly graphics, though ;-) )

I have to strongly disagree. I feel the best kind of graphics are the smooth and vibrant cartoonish graphics of the style this game uses. It's the best way to make the game look polished while not compromising the ability of the game to run smoothly on crappy laptops like mine. :P

This game certainly has promise, it's just too much of a pain in the ass.

3/5 stars

Oh, Danqazmlp, you were a little bit faster than me. ;-)
But as you can see, I agree with you.

A very interesting concept (ugly graphics, though ;-) ), but this is no strategy game. It's a puzzle game.
For there seems to be one solution for each level, and if you do one wave not as intended, you can start the whole level anew - which can be agonizing already with level four. A switchback to a certain round within a single level would be helpful. Or a greater resources gain, respectively a "skip day" button, so that you can really play strategically.
As a strategy game, it can become to frustrating, when you notice that you simply can't assemble the last wave as needed.
So I give 3 stars from 5.

I'd say it's more of a puzzle game than anything else.
