I just can't befriend myself with this game. I tried it, but I got bored very quickly with no incentive to come back. Mostly I agree with Figsak's points, especially #4 and #7. I'm thinking hard for something good to say about this game, but I don't find anything. It's just Boring 1/5 stars
Interesting game that looks very good but is spoiled by a very clunky control system, I could like the game a lot if that could be improved, won't happen thogh will it? 3/5
How this game has a nearly perfect score is baffling to me.
#1. The controls are TERRIBLE. You have to use analog up/down/left/right controls to move your hero DIAGONALLY, which is frustrating.
#2. Your pet loves to get itself killed, and when it succeeds, it's gone forever.
#3. Accessing potions and berries for you and your pet during the heat of battle is near impossible. Everything you need to keep yourself, and your pet alive is at least 3 clicks from being engaged. Fumbling for pots = party wipe.
#4. This entire game is grinding. Grinding for money, grinding for snake skins, grinding for beetle shells, etc.. They've taken the most boring part of RPG's and made a whole game out of it.
#5. The trees block your view, which will get you killed.
#6. Anytime anything gets in your path, like YOUR OWN PET, you stop walking. Which will get you killed.

#8. YOU CAN'T TURN OFF THE LOUD, ABRASIVE MUSIC WITHOUT TURNING OFF ALL THE SOUND!
Basically, this is not a BAD RPG, it's just moderately flawed. Flawed enough to make me go WTF?!?! when I see it has a near 5 star rating.
