An interesting turn-based rpg game.

There's nothing to say that hasn't been said, but I will reiterate. A great looking game, with cool animations for the characters and I like the party level mechanic. As an old-school gamer, random battles don't bother me in the least. However, the lengthy battle time, as well as the enemies using real-time battle whilst you aren't is crippling to this game. I want to like it, but I unfortunately cannot. I encourage the designers to make a sequel with these problems fixed. With all the potential, I'm sure it would propel some careers!

So much potential, such poor execution... If the battles didn't take a hundred years each, it might be playable. A shame, because I liked the characters, and I actually don't mind random battles (or "invisible enemies" as some are calling it!).

Played that game on another game site (but I think I lost my old save point) I love the stats builder after my party gains levels its useful when you want to increase the stats however you want but I was hoping for a party change system where you can swap party members???

Overall I give this a 4/5 rate ;)

Theres is nothing to spend rooks on other than potions. 15 rooks = 50 mp. Cat heals the entire party for 40 mp. Fights give you 15 rooks. Even if you have to heal every fight you have +10 mp a fight. Max his magic. Hp/Mp is not an issue.

What's the difference if it's 15 gold at an inn or 15 gold for a potion to heal the whole party? It makes more sense that you can't sleep for one night and go from near death to perfectly fine and happy. It costs supplies and energy.

This game could have been really good! But the operative words are "could have been". The graphics are quite good and the fighting mechanism, although a-bit odd, works well.

But who in their right fricken mind would develop an adventure RPG in which the party cannot rest/recover HP and MP, and the regenerate rate just doesn't cut it!

Hopeful, but terribly disappointed!

lots of bad points to this game.

no place to rest up and regenerate health and mana. in fact there is very little mana regeneration in potions or anything else.

battle system is so bad as to make this one of the worst games going. I don't care about the invisible enemy issue even though that is frustrating at the very least. the time taken to actually do anything is so long it makes a snail look fast.

1/5 because of the bad mechanics, invisible enemies, no rest area to regenerate, slow timescale for battles and their results.

#1. Annoying: This game has something most GOOD RPG's ditched long ago, random battles. Nobody wants to be harassed by invisible enemies.

#2. Slow: Battles all take so long. Having to wait 3-5 secs between each of your character turns, and then another 5-7 secs of watching the battle scene fade to black and your XP rise, makes this game unplayable for me. This awkward and clunky battle system should have been replaced with a faster real time system, OR a turn based system.

#3. BETA tested?: Has it been? If so, shouldn't the game authors know that we gamers FUCKING HATE IT when they don't give us a music mute button? You can mute ALL of the sound, but I don't want ALL of the sound gone, just the LOUD AND GRATING BATTLE MUSIC.

All my Core (The most awesome AOG group ever) buddies below have said everything else that needs to be said.

The artwork is pretty awesome, but that's the only nice thing I have to say. I won't be playing anymore of this. I looks great, but they F'd it up.

2.5/5 stars, rounded up to 3.
