there is no way a character is going to get through the demo without dying a few times and there is no way any of the equipment in the shop is ever going to be cheap enough to purchase.
for a demo it is good.., for a game on here with such a low chance of getting better equipment and such a low amount of gold available to buy anything any way I have to give low marks
as a game it is worth 4/5 but as it stands it is only getting 2/5
Very good game, graphic is awesome for online game, I finished game in first try with no death, i havent had less than 50 health so i dont know, what is the problem, perhaps game is too easy to play. Too bad its only a demo version and so short.
It looks good and plays fairly well (you can press two wasd keys at the same time to improve movement but it's still anoying).
The monsters are too many / too tough (at least until you get ability at lvl 4). So you die a lot. You do respawn but lose considerable part of your gold (i estimate 20% but seems rounded to tens so 10 or 40 or 60). Plus you dont get much gold. Plus the shop keeps updating so equipment stays unaffordable. So you cannot buy beter equipment (in the end i managed to buy one minor item) so you keep dying so you lose more gold so you cannot buy better equipment. And so on, that is poor design and for full game would be very frustrating.
Also potions are few and far between *and are used immediately* when you walk on them. This too is bad design. With a little more effort the potions could be usefull to help survive more fights and than maybe gear would be affordable.
In all it's ok but the gameplay/design should have had the same level of attention as the graphics. That would make it a great game (if free).
some load bar would be nice so player can see that game is loading.
plus: not td/defense game, good graphics, bit rpg added, alot enemies to kill.
minus: total lack of gold (once player has enuf cash for common axe char has advanced 2 levels so shoip prices go up), shop prices are exorbitant vs gold gotten, too dark (yea its underground but still, for example "doors" and treasure chests are hard to see), player dies too quickly (unless runs around and tries to hit monsters)and in death loses gold which is hard to get (some its got back after going back).
every time you level up the weapons and stuff in the shop get higher in price. the fact you are unable to afford them seems to be a moot point here. the prices just get higher as if they are supposed to be unattainable
the attacks are poor and the swarm of the enemy makes survival rather tenuous and thus the money you get is less as a result
we will see if this continues past the 3 levels I have passed so far. points will follow but not just now.

Ok now I added "Demo" in the title.
I think this flashgame has incredible graphics and good Hack and Slash gameplay.
