I don't stop ppl from rating game. Personally I don't give a bad rating to a game that is not of my genre. There are a lot of games that I don't "understand" but that sell million of copies or have many fans. Many times these games are really well done from a professional point of view. Well, what I want to say is that simply I don't judge everything in the gaming world and I belive that sometimes it is better to simply skip, but it's a personal opinion.
The game has still a good rating because probably there are players that give it a good rating but don't like to write comment.
Anyway, I surrend, really, you're the players, feel free to fire!
Skip the rating?
I'm not going to NOT play a game and NOT give my opinion on it just because it isn't a genre I like.
Restaurant reviewers don't skip McDonalds, they get their fat asses in there and muscle that garbage down, then they give a fair review based on their own opinion.
I played it, I didn't like it, I gave a fair rating based on MY opinion. You can't stop ppl from rating games just because their rating will be bad. That's not how it works.
You're a severe reviewer, but it's ok
Your comment (and rating) is well explained and so more than welcome.
It's just not really original, since there already exist games that work in a similar mode.
The two points I like least:
-The game becomes totally confusing due to the multiple layers of the levels. I don't know what's going on anymore if I can't see both characters. In my first (and sofar only) try I totally became stuck because of this and didn't know how to proceed except by ending the game.
-The "resurrection system" becomes tedious after a while, for the heart shooting takes too long. If I want to puzzle, I want to puzzle. When a character dies, just make me restart the level. That's ok! Provided the level is not too big and multilayered...
So, from me 2 stars out of 5, hopefully adequately backed up.
please don't be so harsh with this game.
I think it's a little gem.
Personally I don't know why so many people give a bad rating to a game because that game is not in the genre they like.
Skip the game and skip the rating: this is the right attitude.
I say this because we had many bad ratings for Fantasy Kommander in the web only for this, absurd, reason.
Also, I think we have to move this discussion in the forum and leave free this space for constructive comments on this game
P.S. Don't worry about strategy-rpg games, as you can see from our under dev section we're still focused in this genre.
i didn't find it rambling i agree as long as we still can have our stratergy games from AOG im happy
Sorry for the long, rambling review. I'll try to shave it down next time.
2/5 stars.
I've got no problem with this new model, AS LONG AS AOG focuses on generating their own fabulous strategy based content.
I see no issue with putting up a bouncy ball room for the idjits who love dumb games, as long as it keeps the poker room in back (The AOG strategy section) up and running.
